Spring sports suspended

Thursday, March 26, 2020

The MHSA Executive Board voted last week to suspend spring activities until further notice, they announced in an email.

The suspension includes practices, contests, meet and festivals.

The Executive Board, the statement read, will reevaluate this situation on April 13

If spring activities are resumed, the practice requirement for sports at that time will be reduced to five practices for all activities except golf, which will be two required practices.

The board added, post-season formats would be adjusted by conferences as necessary.

Hardin High School Athletic Director Mike Erickson added there would be no one-on-one practices or any individual usage of school equipment or facilities during this time.
