Social Security Admin details senior’s benefit options

Red roses, the June flower, were given to the special birthday guests from hostess, Pat Anderson, on June 20 at the birthday dinner. Guests included Dick Chapple, Lorraine Kuntz, Genie Thorberg and Miriam Old Coyote.

The birthday cake from Big Horn IGA bakery was decorated with pink and lavender. It was donated by Shirley and Cliff Groombridge.

First Interstate Bank provides the cost of the ingredients of the meal with an annual grant that benefits both the Hardin Senior Center and Lodge Grass Senior Center. Holly Higgins from FIB helped to serve the meal to 60 patrons. A thank you is sent to the bank for their ongoing support for programs that benefit our senior citizens.

The Seniors Association 50-50 raffle prize of $54.50 was won by Tom Warren.

Out of town guests were Ruth Benzel’s daughter Dianna and son-in-law Larry Rice.

Thinking of You cards were signed and sent to Kris and Richard Clausen, and Bonnie Vandersloot from all of us.

The summer’s fundraiser for the Seniors Association is a gift basket and tickets are on sale. The drawing is Sept. 4. Stop in at the Hardin Senior Center at 317 N. Custer to buy your chances.
