Montana (Tana) N. Watts passed away May 3, 2018 in Billings. She is survived by her daughter Penny Carlson of Billings, son Chip (and Sandy) Watts of Garryowen, and nephew Rusty (and Deb) Rokita of Hardin; as well as her grandchildren Chance Carlson of Belgrade, Maine, Josh Watts of Lockwood, and Jolene Verlanic of Colstrip and their families.

Her family and friends will miss her stories and poems, flowers, paintings, and sharp business sense. She was instrumental in developing the Lockwood Johnson Lane Interchange, the start of the Lockwood Fire Department and the Montana Landlord/ Tenant Association.

There will be no services as per Tana’s wishes. The family thanks her extended family Karen and Aaron Weis, and the caring staff at Wyndstone and Senior Independent Hospice. Donations can be made to the Big Horn County Historical Museum. Condolences may be shared by visiting .
