Marge Tyler Power

Marge Tyler Power passed away in Hardin on Feb. 19, 2018. Marge was born in Strasberg, North Dakota to August Volk and Elizabeth Schwan Volk on April 26, 1927. She grew up and attended school in Strasberg.

She married Don Tyler in Hot Springs, South Dakota and together they had six children. Marge worked various jobs throughout her life. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the museum and tending to her flowers. Marge met and later married Glen Power in 1998.

Her parents; sister Regina Langfeld; brothers Martin, Bill, Alyos, Bob and Mike Volk; daughter Linda Slovack; grandsons Travis Small, Tyler Wobig and John Hunter; and her husbands preceded Marge in death.

Marge is survived by sister Betty Summerfelt; daughters Sharon (Ken) Wobig, Beverly (George) Garcia, Melody (Marvin) Davis and Barbara (Tom) Bogunovich; son Don (Cristy) Tyler; her 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and Glenn’s children Tina, Kevin and Matt (Natalie) Powers; and great friends Loretta Flack and Jo Engellant.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Hardin Fairview Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
