The routers are here! The routers are here! Oh happy day, oh happy day, go sing it on the mountain…the routers are here!

Last week, I wrote that some of our patrons were frustrated because our Wi-Fi was not working and the problem was our routers. They were old, worn out and no longer functioning. This appeared in the Big Horn County News last Thursday and, ironically, the new routers arrived on Friday. We mounted them on the walls immediately, typed the necessary information into the server and – voila – we now have our Wi-Fi up and working.

Right after we finished putting up the last router, Donelle logged on and had no problem. Also, we have heard no complaints from patrons about the speed or ease of logging on, so it appears the problem is fixed.

If you enjoy tapping the small screen of your phone while life is occurring around you without your participation, you can do that once again at the Big Horn County Library! Whoopee!

We also have plenty of reading material at the library. With football season getting started, the kids might like to take a look at some of the books we have downstairs that tell the story of individual NFL teams.

We also have books on the main floor that will help you plan your next barbecue, give you pointers on improving your fly fishing, help you with a do-it-yourself project at home or supply advice for dealing with an unruly infant. If you’re looking for a spy thriller, a romance novel or an inspirational story of faith, you can probably find what you’re looking for on the second floor. I encourage everyone to come in and take a look, as I am sure you will be able to find something you would enjoy reading.

We at the Big Horn County Library would like to wish you the best of weeks while you enjoy the cooler weather and the changing of leaves on the trees.
