Florian James, “Jim,” Neutgens, 73, passed away in the Big Horn Hospital on December 25, 2020.

He was born on September 1, 1947 to James and Martha (Sigg) Neutgens in Wolf Point, Montana.

He grew up in Wolf Point. Jim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Belinda Hoffard on December 21, 1968 in Wolf Point.

Jim and Belinda lived in Wolf Point until 1975 when they moved to Hardin. The couple had two children Sue and James, “Jay.” They coowned and operated the Ben Franklin Store, later renaming Jimmies, until Belinda’s death in 1999. Jim and Belinda were a devoted couple and one rarely saw one without the other. Jim continued to manage the store with the help of his son Jay. Jim was an active member of the Hardin Business Community for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Belinda; his daughter, Sue; and his brother, Jerry Neutgens.

He is survived by his son, Jay; his daughter-in-law, Daisy; his beloved grandson, Logan; his brothers, Larry (Carol) and Mike (Amy) Neutgens; and his sister, Mari (Shawn) Steffen.

Cremation has taken place and services are pending.
