Donna Wroe

Donna Charlene Wroe, 91, passed away December 22, 2020 in the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital in Hardin, Montana.

She was born on September 21, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles and Dorothy (Taylor) Cutler.

She married Eugene W. Wroe on November 17, 1946 after he returned from serving during WWII. The couple was married 68 years before Mr. Wroe’s passing on December 31, 2014. Three sons also preceded her in death, Charles, Kim and Michael.

The couple lived in Minnesota for most of their years. They had seven children and a number of foster children. Donna was a faithful wife and mother. In her later years, she worked as a seasonal employee at Itasca State Park in Minnesota. The couple lived in Arizona for 21 years after retirement. They moved to rural Hardin, Montana and made their home with Doug and Carla Svedberg.

She is survived by her three daughters, Gayle (Arvid) Wroe-Johnson, of Stillwater, Minnesota, Carla (Doug) Svedberg, of Hardin, Julee (Robert) White of Burien, Washington; one son, Harvey Wroe of Tucson, Arizona; along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2021 at the Big Sky Bible Church Billings, Montana.

Bullis Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements.
