Bruce Bearchum

Bruce Bearchum, aged 71, of Hardin passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

He was born in 1947 in Pendleton, Oregon, the eldest son of eight children. He served in the United States Army as a staff sergeant from 1968 until he was honorably discharged.

After leaving the army, Bruce was married to Madeline Wiley for 30 years, and together they had six children – Viola, Bruce II, Mariah, Brice, Winona and Brian.

In 2002, Bruce married Nikki Rose. They later adopted Bruce’s grandsons, Jason and Elijah, and then their daughter, Nizhoni, was born.

In 1982, Bruce dedicated his life to the Creator and God of the Bible, Jehovah, and began a lifelong career of sharing his treasured faith and truths from the Bible with others. He firmly believed in the comforting Bible promise of living again on this earth when paradise conditions are restored.

Bruce loved his family and friends and had a radiant smile and infectious laugh. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping. He had a big heart and was always ready and willing to help anyone.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Nikki; and his children Jason, Elijah and Nizhoni, Viola, Bruce, Winona, and Brian; his siblings Sophia, Ben, Curtis, and Eleanor; a close cousin, David Wolf; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews from the N Cheyenne, CTUIR, and Yakama Nations; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Cecelia; siblings Brenda, Frances, and Keith; daughter Mariah and son Brice.
