Last Friday, the H.O.P.E. Center and OneHealth in Hardin held a workshop where employees shared digital stories about recoveries from addiction, trauma, and abuse. Roanna Gets Down Often, a certified Behavioral Health Peer Support Specialist at the H.O.P.E. Center, honored me by inviting me to lunch during the last day of the workshop. During their workshop, employees of H.O.P.E. Center and One-Health created 3-4 minute videos telling stories of recovery that employees of the H.O.P.E. Center and One-Health were brave enough to share amongst each other. It was a progressive act of bonding, unlike anything I’ve witnessed in any other workplace environment.
