Thursday, Jan. 18 and Monday, Jan. 22 – Montana State University Extension, Big Horn County is offering a free strength training program called Strong Women & Men at 10 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays at 317 N. Custer until March 8. The extension office has received a grant allowing them to provide the required weights and mats for the classes. Saturday, Jan. 20 to Sunday, Jan. 21 – The Hardin Otter Team will be hosting their Tropical swim meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 9:20 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Teams from Billings and Sheridan, Wyo. are expected to attend.
 
Tuesday, Jan. 23 – Montana State University Extension Office in Big Horn County is offering a Montana: Living Life Well workshop series every Tuesday until Feb. 27. Pre-register by Jan. 16 to receive all materials for the series.
 
Wednesday, Jan. 17 – The Big Horn County Planning Board meeting for this date has been canceled.
 
Thursday, Feb. 1 – The Big Horn County Local Work Group will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the USDA Service Center building in Hardin, 724 West 3rd Street. For more information, call the Big Horn Conservation District at (406) 629-3229 or the Natural Resources Conservation Service at (406) 629-3220.
 
MONDAYS
 
• Hardin AA meets at 8 p.m. at 619 Division. For more information, call 679-0681 (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
•The Two Rivers Authority meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Two Rivers Detention Facility in Hardin (first Monday).
• Pryor Al Anon Family Group meets at 7 p.m. at the St. Charles Mission multi-purpose room.
• The Historical Preservation Commission meets at noon. For more information, call 665-2137 (second Monday).
• Welcoming Comfort Al-Anon lunch bunch at 12, noon at 310 N. Center Ave. Upstairs, Alateens are welcome.
 
TUESDAYS
 
• The Helping Hands Food Bank is open from noon to 4 p.m. for emergency food services. January’s flavor of the month is Mac & Cheese (Tuesday and Thursday). 
• Al-Anon Experience Strength and Hope group meets at 7 p.m. at 619 Division. Alateens are welcome.
• Hardin City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Public Utility Facility across from City Hall (first and third Tuesday).
• All City Committees are scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. every third Tuesday of each month, at the Public Utility Facility (across from the City Offices at 406 N Cheyenne Ave.).
• Jasmine Chapter No. 65 of Eastern Star meets 7 p.m. at the Masonic Hall (second and fourth Tuesday).
• Chamber of Commerce meets 12, noon at Three Brothers Bistro (second Tuesday).
• Weight Watchers: Bullis Family Center at 524 N Cheyenne Ave. Weigh-in, 5 p.m., meeting, 5:30 to 6 p.m.
• Hardin District 17H & 1 School Board meets at 5:30 p.m. in the school administration building (second and fourth Tuesday).

• BHC Library Story Hour is held at 10:30 a.m. Crafts included; children must be accompanied by an adult. 
• Kiwanis meets at noon at Three Brother’s Bistro in the back room. All visitors are welcome.

• Hardin’s Rod and Gun Club meets at the 4-Aces Joker Room at 6 p.m. 665-2712 (2nd Wednesday).
 
THURSDAYS

• The Hardin Hope for Today Al-Anon group will be meeting at 7 p.m. at 323 N. Crawford Ave. This group includes literature study. Alateens are welcome.

• St. John’s Lodge No. 92 meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall (second and fourth Thursday).
• Lodge Grass Al-Anon meets at 8 p.m. upstairs in Our Lady of Loretto Church.
