MEETINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS
 
Thursday, Nov. 16 – The Bureau of Reclamation will host a presentation on water supply conditions in the Bighorn Basin and discuss the agency’s proposed fall and winter operating plans for Yellowtail Dam and Bighorn Lake. The meeting will be held at the Radisson Hotel, 5500 Midland Road in Billings, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and concluding about 3:30 p.m.
 
Thursday, Nov. 16 – Merritt “Hugo” White Clay will be speaking about the Life of Chief Pretty Eagle at noon in the Library Programs Room at Little Big Horn College.  The program is free and open to the public.  For further information, contact Tim Bernardis at (406) 638-3113 or tim@lbhc.edu
 
Saturday, Nov. 18 – Hardin High School will host an invitational speech meet and need numerous judges for their Debate, Drama, and Speech competition events. Those who can give their time or would like more information may contact Mitch Evans or Janie Morissette at the high school at (665-6301) or Angela Ericksen at Crow Elementary School (638-4136).
 
Sunday, Nov. 19 – Practice for the Annual Community Christmas Contata will be held at 9 a.m. each Sunday at First American Lutheran Church (FALC) at the corner of 4th Street and Terry Avenue. All are invited to participate. The Christmas Contata is scheduled at FALC starting 2 p.m. on Dec. 10. 
 
Monday, Nov. 20 and Thursday, Nov. 23 – Better Living Classes will be starting at the Montana State University Extension office in Hardin, located at 317 N Custer Ave. Classes will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays from Oct. 30 through Dec. 21. Tuesday, Nov. 21 – Four sessions of crock pot cooking classes are scheduled at the MSU Extension Office in Hardin every Tuesday, starting at 5:30 p.m., from Nov. 21 through Dec. 12. Cooking sessions last for two hours. For more information, call (406) 665-9770.
 
MONDAYS
 
• Hardin AA meets at 8 p.m. at 619 Division. For more information, call 679-0681 (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
•The Two Rivers Authority meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Two Rivers Detention Facility in Hardin (first Monday).
• Pryor Al Anon Family Group meets at 7 p.m. at the St. Charles Mission multi-purpose room.
• The Historical Preservation Commission meets at noon. For more information, call 665-2137 (second Monday).
• Welcoming Comfort Al-Anon lunch bunch at 12, noon at 310 N. Center Ave. Upstairs, Alateens are welcome.
 
TUESDAYS
 
• The Helping Hands Food Bank is open from noon to 4 p.m. for emergency food services. November flavor of the month is canned beef stew. (Tuesday and Thursday). 
• Al-Anon Experience Strength and Hope group meets at 7 p.m. at 619 Division. Alateens are welcome.
• Hardin City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Public Utility Facility across from City Hall (first and third Tuesday).
• All City Committees are scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. every third Tuesday of each month, at the Public Utility Facility (across from the City Offices at 406 N Cheyenne Ave.).
• Jasmine Chapter No. 65 of Eastern Star meets 7 p.m. at the Masonic Hall (second and fourth Tuesday).
• Chamber of Commerce meets 12, noon at Bighorn BBQ Boys (second Tuesday).
• Weight Watchers: Bullis Family Center at 524 N Cheyenne Ave. Weigh-in, 5 p.m., meeting, 5:30 to 6 p.m.
• Hardin District 17H & 1 School Board meets at 5:30 p.m. in the school administration building (second and fourth Tuesday).
 
 WEDNESDAYS
 
• BHC Library Story Hour at 10:30 a.m. Crafts included; children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Kiwanis meets at noon at Three Brother’s Bistro in the back room. All visitors are welcome.
• Hardin AA meets at 8 p.m. at 619 Division. For more information, call 679-0681 (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
• Hardin’s Rod and Gun Club meets at 3 Bros Bistro at 6:30 p.m. (second Wednesday).
 
 THURSDAYS
 
• Recovery meetings are being held at 6:30 p.m. at the Spirit of Life Church in Crow Agency. For more information, please call 406-459-4371.
• The Hardin Hope for Today Al-Anon group will be meeting at 7 p.m. at 323 N. Crawford Ave. This group includes literature study. Alateens are welcome.

• St. John’s Lodge No. 92 meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall (second and fourth Thursday).
• Lodge Grass Al-Anon meets at 8 p.m. upstairs in Our Lady of Loretto Church.
